BERRY PICKING AT BON-AF BERRY FARM
Berry picking is great fun – and of course, the whole family reaps the rewards of enjoying the delicious fruits of your labour! The outing includes a guided tour of the orchard, as well as the chance to pick a variety of berries, including blackberries, gooseberries, elderberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and Black Nightshade. You’ll be given a special container to hold your pickings. There’s also a tea garden on the premises, where you can have some refreshment and a petting zoo with cute farm animals. Make sure you visit the little museum with its displays of everyday items including a dress that dates back 125 years, and a gun and a phonograph from 1889.
